Growing fodder beet to feed livestock should not be overlooked. That is the opinion of Lyndon Harris, an agronomist at Agrovista, who suggests that more livestock and dairy farmers should be looking to grow fodder beet to take advantage of the crops value and performance within a feeding system.

The FarmDroid FD20 has proven itself in establishing and managing a crop of fodder beet from seeding through to inter and intra-row weeding when it established this monster crop in 2023. A 3.26 acre field resulted in a crop of 150 tonnes, which equalled 46 tonnes/acre.
